Sita Tak
Sita Tak is the owner of Sensation Salon and Academy Tezpur and is the prime driving force behind it. She started Sensation Salon in 2001, right after she completed her training in Women’s World International, Kolkata. The salon was started in a 10X12 ft room that could sit just two customers at a time. In spite of the salon being small in size, it was just like a mini version of the present-day Sensation Salon and Academy that you see today. It was fully air-conditioned and had stylish interiors. It was made to stand out from all the other salons at that time and it was successful in this regard. She has always been passionate about beauty services, therefore, while running the salon she pursued multiple courses with big brands such as Jawed Habib and VLCC to upskill herself.
Soon, with her skill and her dedication to providing the best services, she became popular. The popularity brought with it a colossal increase in her customer base and the small salon wasn’t sufficient to meet the demand. Hence, in 2013 she moved Sensation Salon to G-Square Mall, Tezpur which had elegant interiors and all the necessary infrastructure a modern salon should have. Now, the salon was sufficient to serve her customers well, but the only constraint was it was a ladies-only salon. Therefore, in order to serve both genders of customers, she started the Sensation Salon and Academy, which is a unisex salon.
Furthermore, with her passion towards the beauty space, she took up a course on Permanent Makeup (PMU) from the Bangkok Beauty Academy, which is one of the best in the world. Equipped with the knowledge she has started offering PMU services in the salon, which was very well received by the market.

Geeta Thapa
Geeta Thapa is a senior instructor and has trained more than a hundred students in Sensation Salon and Academy, which has helped many build a career in the beauty services industry. She has a Diploma in Fashion Designing from NIFD Kolkata. Soon after she completed her diploma, she took up another Diploma in cosmetology from VLCC. After earning her diplomas, she worked with Dr. Paul’s Kolkata, which specializes in hair and skin treatment. She is also trained under renowned national and international makeup artists like Meenakshi Dutt and Michelly Palma from Brazil.
